How we will work with your business
It’s important to us that you see us as part of your team. We work hard to understand you, your customers and your business.
We make no charge for the initial meeting and discussion about your needs and possible solutions. If we feel we can’t help you, we’ll tell you, and suggest alternative options.
Once we agree on a way forward, we will put together a proposal and fee structure for you. When we are both happy that we have a practical and effective brief (with clear objectives and activity plan), then we start work.
With longer or more complex projects, we are responsive to evolving circumstances, making changes and taking on new tasks as we progress. If this means we need to propose new fees, then we will discuss this with you at the earliest possible time.
Geographically, we are within easy reach of the West and East Midlands, London and the South West, and we can handle assignments throughout the UK.
Onsite marketing support as required
Interim assignments and projects can be carried out wholly at client premises, although we usually find that much of our project work can be completed from our own base – keeping expenses and overheads to a minimum. However, we always ensure the right level of face-to-face contact and interaction to get the job done successfully, whether this means meeting staff or customers, experiencing operational activities or running in-house briefing sessions.

How you pay
We aim to work with you on the most appropriate basis and will quote in two main ways:
A fixed price for a specific project, assignment, or work package
We scope and define the project, assignment or work package with you and quote a fixed price for its completion. We usually bill in two stages, taking a percentage of the fee upfront to secure the contract followed by the remainder of the fee upon completion. With longer-term projects, we will propose a series of staged payments, linked to defined checkpoints.
Coaching and mentoring programmes are usually billed monthly in advance.
A day rate basis
You buy a certain number of man-days over a defined period and we quote you a day rate dependent on the number of days reserved and the level of resource required. We bill you for the number of days used, usually at the end of each month worked.
In both cases, you only pay for the time and skill used. All our fees are usually quoted inclusive of expenses. Any extraordinary expenses will be agreed with you and billed at cost.
